Finally. Goose Island Night Stalker has arrived. $9.79 per 22oz bottle. Same base as Goose Island Bourbon County Stout, but instead of barrel aging it, they dry hop it like crazy. Fabulous. Bottled 2/19/10

For some reason I’d assumed that the Raging Bitch was a one-off, brewed in celebration of he brewery’s 20th anniversary. But in it walks this morning, so we’ll roll with it. Vintage 2010 Raging Bitch. Cool. $9.99 6pk, $1.80 ea

*** Ok, who can answer the Behemoth question: did 2010 Behemoth come out already? Usually it’s a January release, no? Did we miss it? Salesman is clueless, and the delivery guy thinks the blue wax is 2010, but clearly it’s not: the bottle shape is the ‘old’ 22oz shape, and the label hasn’t undergone any changes like Floyds has been doing, not to mention we’ve been getting blue wax bottles since last year. 2010 Behemoth anyone???

The much anticipated Bells Batch 9000 (bottled 1/27/10)arrived this morning. Two bottle limit, $2.99 each. And in case two bottles isn’t enough for you (and how could it be), according to the salesman that sold it to me, an unnamed ‘wood’ store on the southside is the only other place south of the city to have any. Joe-wood? Frank-wood? Something like that.
