I happened upon this offshoot of Capital Brewing’s main site today called whointherightmind.com. It’s a really well made site designed to whip up anticipation for only one of Capital’s seasonal products: their superb if underrated Capital Blonde Dopplebock.

Hurray, one more Southern Tier Choklat!!. $8.79 22oz, bottled 1/5/10. Word has it that S.T.’s moving to a new distributor, so product is eeking out slowly until the current distributor is out of all their stock. Maybe we’ll get Pumking next fall?

Also in today, more Capital Imperial Dopplebock. Truth be told, I cheated (I think) by getting more, but this stuff is too good to pass up bending a few rules to get hold of. Check it out. Along side that dark beauty came a classic from the same brewery: Capital Munich Dark. New awesome label since we’ve last gotten any, so let’s see if the attractive packaging can snag some real beer drinkers. Spot-on Munich dunkel. Delicious.

And the one everybody’s been waiting for: Three Floyds’ Lord Admiral Nelson ESB is finally here. Only a pallet arrived for Chicago, so only high-end beer bars and big stores (read: Binny’s) were supposed to get any. We are neither, but I scored a case. See what all the fuss is about. $7.99 22oz.
