Can we stop talking about the 3F drought now that it’s been 3 months of seriously limited quantities? Somebody please post whether or not this stuff can be found anywhere. In this week: no Alpha, no Pride, no Robert, no Dread. One case of Gumball. Cheers. I wonder aloud whether once they get their act together, if anybody will care. You take something away for that long, folks are bound to move on (except me, of course, who can’t let the issue go). I predict that by the time we get as much as we want in a given week, we’ll sell half of what we did a year ago when there wasn’t an issue getting product. Or who knows, maybe they’re geniuses. He’s to hoping we find out someday.

And now that my weekly crying binge has subsided, here’s some beer we DON’T have a problem getting:

A Little Sumpin’ Sumpin’
An American wheat ale you can sink your teeth into. Boldly flavorful, low bitterness, crisply wheaty... man this is delicious stuff folks. RB 98, BA A-.... the ratings hold up. Check it out if you’ve never tried it. Like Gumballhead, but better---because we can GET it in stock every now and again!

Lagunitas IPA
One of those beers you enjoy then forget about. Revisit this superbly crafted West-Coast IPA while it’s nice and fresh.

Great Divide Hoss
This little beauty took my by surprise last fall, not only by its interesting and delicious twist on the Oktoberfest/marzen theme of adding rye to the mash, but by its brevity. By the time I’d realized what a gem of a beer this was, it was gone for the season. I’m on it this year. Check this one out as the long summer nights turn cooler and you’re in the backyard with a neighborhood campfire gathering. Awesome.

Great Divide Titan
Titan takes on a different quality after a couple months in the bottle. Check this one out while the hops are still fragrant and the balance is still tilted away from the heavy sweet malts. Really damn nice when you catch it fresh.

Left Hand 400lb Monkey
This one was out of stock for a few weeks. It’s a British-style IPA, so expect something different. Super enjoyable, really tasty. When a new beer comes out that’s from a respectable brewery, I’ll get a few cases of it before I’ve actually tried it. This one survived the initial trial period with me and the customers, so may stay in rotation if sales keep up. Check it out, it’s one of those beers you may not like at first blush, but after a few sessions, you say to yourself: ‘Aww, I get it. Great little beer’

Metro beers are fabulous. Seriously. A little pricey for such a ‘plain’ set of beers (a ‘bright’ lager, a ‘copper’ lager, and a kolsch-style), but if you have any skills as a beer taster you’ll marvel at these little gems. They hit their mark and don’t stray. Great stuff.

came and went. If anybody wants some, you’ve got to come on Thursday. We get 1 or 2 cases allocated per delivery, and they’re gone the day they arrive. 1 or 2 cases per delivery would be great if we were able to get daily deliveries, but as they only come once a week, we tend to run out. Perhaps if the logjam were cleared up, and we were able to get a week’s worth every week? 10-12 cases please? Anyone?
