A Belgian Strong Pale Ale / Golden Ale. 

LA CHOUFFE is brewed with local Ardennes spring water, top fermenting yeast, Pilsner malt, and white candy sugar. Hopped with Kent Golding and Saaz.  Lightly flavored with coriander.  Superbly drinkable and delicious. 


8.0% abv, serve at 50-55°F

Belgian Strong Pale:

  1. •pale to golden in color.

  2. •high alcohol content that ranges from hidden to spicy to devastatingly present.

  3. •expect a complex and powerful ale, yet delicate with rounded flavors and big, billowy, rocky, white head.

  4. •most are fruity and quite hoppy, but hop flavor and aroma will generally be within the low range and artfully balanced.
