An English Strong Ale from Young’s Brewing, London, England.  While not as popular and well-known as some of Britain’s other big beers, Youngs brews some truly high quality traditional British-style ales. 

The Oatmeal Stout is moderately sweet with flavors of vanilla, caramel, milk chocolate, and oatmeal. A creamy, toffee-tinged roasted malt aroma. Big, chewy roasted maltiness up front.  Hints of oak and a smoked quality. A touch heavier than medium bodied. Velvety on the palate.  A very solid version of the style.
