An English Barleyine from Young’s Brewing, London, England.  While not as popular and well-known as some of Britain’s other big beers, Youngs brews some truly high quality traditional British-style ales. 

The Old Nick is a robust, deep mahogany colored beer with a dense, sticky head.  The fruity flavors are only apparent at the proper serving temperature, so make sure you let this one warm a bit before drinking it to get the full effect.  Sweet, caramel malts form the base of the flavor, hops are overshadowed.  Great presentation, crystal clear & rich.
