A fruit/herb/vegetable beer from Dogfish Head Brewing, Delaware. 

 

The classiest of the pumpkin beers.  Great spicy nose, not overwhelming.  Brilliant orange color, light carbonation.  The sweetness of pumpkin meat, some sweet malts, and the brown sugar all come together through the full palate, balanced not by hops - they’re almost imperceptible - but by the delicate spicing.  Not overdone, as some gourdbiers are, but very nicely crafted.  Classy.

7%abv, serve at 45-50°F
