Malty, smooth, rich, and slightly aromatic, the Hofbrau Dunkel is a venerable beer made for the world-famous Hofbrauhaus in the center of Munich.  We should count ourselves lucky that the world enonomy works in such a way to allow us to drink this beer.  Old world decoction brewing methods lends depth and richness rarely seen on this side of the Atlantic. Classic German noble hops give an air of unrivaled excellence to this accessible dark brew.  Wonderful.
