Goose Island Honker’s Ale

A British-style bitter from Goose Island, Chicago.  This beer is sometimes wrongly classified as a pale ale, but once you taste it, it's really based on a classic British Bitter.  It's bitter right off the bat, with traditional tea-like British hops in the flavor.  A very nice filtered amber color, great fluffy white head that laces the glass.  Great session beer and a must-have local brew

4.3%abv, IBU's=35, serve at 40-45°F
