An Imperial Stout from Great Lakes, Cleveland Ohio.
Jet black, thick, heavy body, with pronounced roasted malts. Sweet and toasty, and the hops are perfectly matched to the beer: not sharply bitter, just enough to combat the full malt texture. Excellent imperial stout. Hopped with Simcoe & Northern Brewer.
9%abv, IBU's=85, seasonal, serve at 50-55°F
