An American Double Stout from Bear Republic Brewing, Healdsburg, California.

Rich, chewy, big deep-roasted flavors, sweet malts.... hops are nicely balanced on the top end, flavor hops play nicely with the big sweet (molasses and malt) middle, and a nearly imperceptable flowery touch on the finish.   Big lingering roastiness keeps your eye on the bottom of the glass--hoping this one doesn’t end.  Superb double stout.
